My name is Amelia Brennick & I named my business after my hometown; Hollis Center, Maine. I have lived in the Austin area since 2010. I attended nursing school at the University of New England in Portland, Maine. Prior to becoming an RN, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 5 years. During my time working as a CNA, I developed a passion for elder & dementia care. In the past 15 years of being a RN I have enjoyed working in a variety of areas & specialties.
I started to have an interest in foot care during my years working as a CNA. Once I began working in acute care, I was shocked to see the condition of some of my patients' feet & toenails. I began to understand the challenges of providing your own toenail care as you age or face other health challenges. Proper foot & toenail care is vital to maintaining one's health as we age. I am a certified foot care nurse and have the goal of helping Austin area residents maintain their feet & toenails in the safest, cleanest way possible, in the comfort of their own homes.
